This inaugural gala marks a significant milestone for the organizations, bringing together community leaders, advocates, local government, businesses, supporters, and families for an elegant evening dedicated to empowerment, remembrance, and community impact.
The Carl David Richardson Foundation, Inc. was established in loving memory of Carl David Richardson, whose life and legacy continue to inspire meaningful work focused on conflict resolution, youth development, education, and community wellness. Through programs that promote respect, understanding, and positive engagement, the Foundation seeks to prevent violence and uplift at-risk individuals and families. The Women Helping Women Empowering Group complements this mission by championing women’s empowerment, leadership development, mentorship, and community advocacy, creating pathways for women to support one another while strengthening families and neighborhoods.
Through its partnership, the UON2D Global Chamber of Commerce reinforces its mission to support global entrepreneurship, economic inclusion, and cross-sector collaboration, bridging business and community service to create sustainable impact.
The gala evening will feature dinner, music, special recognitions, and inspiring reflections highlighting the missions and impact of both organizations. Proceeds from the event will directly support ongoing and future programs that serve youth, women, and underserved communities throughout New York City.
